You’ll Need:

  • Ribbon 2″ to 3″ wide; wire rimmed ribbon works best.
  • Scissors
  • Measuring Tape or Ruler
  • Glue
  • Acorns

Decorating Options:

  • Paint
  • Nail Polish
  • Glitter Glue

Optional: To avoid any outdoor critters in your acorns, its best to either place them in your freezer  for a few days or bake them in your oven before getting started.

Baking instructions:                                                                                                                                   Place single layer of acorns on a cookie sheet and bake 20-30 minutes @ 325 degrees.

Instructions:

1. Measure and cut six inches of ribbon.

3. Decorate acorns to your liking.  A clear coat of nail polish works great for a shiny natural look.  Or if you prefer color, paint them in beautiful fall tones.

4. Allow acorns to dry thoroughly.

5. Glue acorns to ribbon, acquiring your own personal style.
