Just when the summer color begins to fade away, in marches the Pansy to save the day.

This delightful little flower comes in a wide variety of gorgeous colors, does very well in cooler weather and can even tolerate a bit of snow.  Their smiling little faces are sure to bring a little joy to the winter woes.

PLANTING
Seed may be sown indoors 6 to 8 weeks before transplanting them into flower beds or containers. Plant in moist, rich, well-drained soil 8-10 inches apart and water regularly. Pansies prefer sun and cooler temperatures making an excellent choice for your fall to spring garden.

After the pansy blooms and the petals fall to the ground, a pod will submerge, open, and reveal seed.
